The final Environmental Impact Statement for the Downeast LNG project is scheduled to become available on this date.

Federal Court Hearing

Another hearing in the litigation against the infamous Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) for illegally abrogating its statutory obligations. The BIA failed to perform obligated environmental and economic studies prior to approving the Ground Lease agreement between Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Tribal Government and Quoddy Bay LLC/LNG. In addition the BIA repeatedly failed to produce documents required for disclosure under Freedom of Information Act requests.
