The Split Rock Ground Lease between Pleasant Point Tribal Government and Quoddy Bay LNG provided for the LNG ship berth and other LNG facilities essential to the project. The LNG piping was planned to go beneath Split Rock, under Half Moon Cove, and onto shore in Perry. On 2009 June 9, Pleasant Point Tribal Government ended its Ground Lease with Quoddy Bay LNG essentially ended the life of the project.
